Give Em' the Boot!

Well as many of you know I recently had foot surgery and as souvenir I got a very large clunky black boot to wear for the next couple of weeks. Oh so exciting, if I was into big black medical boots!

At first I did not mind the boot so much because my foot hurt so bad, but now I am just annoyed with it. I am so grateful that this is only a 3 week endeavor. I mean seriously there is 5 Velcro straps to fasten!

I tried to get Dan to put the boot on and see what it was like and he was highly uninterested. I wanted him to feel my pain, but he was not feeling it. Nathan cannot understand why Mommy is wearing a funny shoe and I think it is making Roudy nervous that I am going to step on him.

All in all I am glad that I did the surgery and will be able to walk without wanting to cut my foot off, but I am counting down the days to take this thing off.

The Tale of Two Shows...

So Tuesday nights are my favorite TV nights. Lost and Glee are both on at the same time and I am ever so grateful for DVR.

Dan and I have been HUGE Lost fans ever since the pilot and have never missed an episode. Oh how I love Sawyer and Jack! It is such a crazy show that loves to answer a question with another question. For as much as I have enjoyed the show I think that I have had more joy just cuddling with Dan and trying to piece the puzzle together with the rest of the Keoppel clan. I am ready to have the questions answered (if they answer them!) but does it really need to end???

I find some comfort in the fact that another show has come along and made me grin, that's right I am LOVING Glee! The singing, dancing, comedy, drama and Will Schuester are awesome! I am of the personal opinion that they created the show especially for me. Even though this show is so awesome there is one downfall, Dan hates it. There is no cuddle time or even staying in the same room time. It is just me all alone watching (but loving it!)

I guess to end this tale of two shows I would say that Lost you will be dearly missed and Glee I hope you are around for a long time but no matter what nothing can ever replace FRIENDS!!!

Well Here We Are...

I have been meaning to get a blog together for so long, so here I am! For the moment my house is quiet which is rare.

Nathan is constantly cracking me up. I went grocery shopping today and it never fails that while shopping Nathan has to make as many new friends as possibe. It is a constant "Hi" "Hello" and his version of what are you doing which is just "Doing?"

It is so funny to watch the reactions that people have to him. Most people laugh a little and tell him hello, but others try to ignore him, but not many. Non the less it makes my grocery shopping trips a little longer and a bit funnier!

So next time you are in the grocery store and you hear a little voice say "doing?" as you reach for a package of Macaroni and Cheese it just may be Nathan!
